OUR STORY

Little Grove was created from lived experience.

My daughter attended both mainstream and specialist schools, but over time it became clear that the environment wasn’t meeting her needs. Anxiety increased, mornings became increasingly difficult, and her wellbeing began to suffer.

The decision to take her out of school wasn’t easy, but it was necessary to protect her mental health.

With the right support, she gradually began to regulate, rebuild confidence and re-engage. What made the difference was a calm, low-demand environment, familiar adults and an approach built around her individual needs.

However, being out of school also meant missing opportunities for connection, friendship and belonging.

Little Grove was created to bridge that gap. It provides a safe, nurturing environment where children can build trust, develop relationships and reconnect with learning at their own pace.

SAFETY & REGULATION

Children can only learn when they feel safe. We prioritise emotional safety, trust and co-regulation in everything we do.

CONNECTION

Relationships come before expectations. We build strong, genuine connections with children and families to support lasting engagement and growth.

INDIVIDUALITY

Every child is unique. We adapt our approach to meet individual strengths, needs and interests rather than expecting children to fit a standard model.

BELONGING

Every child deserves a place where they feel accepted, valued and included.

What We Offer
